Help 3-year-old Akhil fight cancer

3-year-old Akhil, son of Siva Valluru has been diagnosed with a severe form of cancer called Myeloid Luekemia.

The only form of treatment for his condition is chemotherapy which he needs to undergo for the next six months. The total cost of the treatment is around 8 lakh Rs.

Unfortunately, Siva Rama only earns 10000 Rs a month and does not have the funds to pay for the treatment. He needs our help to save his son.

Your contribution can give little Akhil the treatment he deserves

Dear Supporters,

Thank you for the wonderful support that you have shown towards Akhil. I have some unfortunate news to share with you today.

Akhil underwent multiple sessions of chemotherapy but unfortunately his cancer relapsed and he did not respond to further treatment   and was discharged from the hospital with further medical management. He was on his way back home and he developed a few complications and  before the family could get him back to the hospital he passed away.

This tough brave kid fought very hard but his body could not take the stress. Your support ensured that he received the best treatment and care possible. All the funds raised via this campaign have been used towards his treatment. Please do pray for his soul to rest in peace.

Regards,
Dr Krishna Reddy

Dear Supporters,

Here is an update for you all.

Akhil underwent induction therapy and a few tests and that has resulted in reducing the side effects of his disease.

His sister was the donor for his transplant. However, before doctors could start the procedure, his blood counts went low. Hence, the transplant was postponed.

Akhil is still not responding to chemotherapy despite multiple sessions. His body was non-responsive to the chemotherapy so he has been advised for medical management.

Thank you for the love and support you have shown Akhil. Please pray for his health and speedy recovery.

Regards.
