Shri Himansu Sekhar Chatterjee, aged about 50 from Bhubaneswar, Odisha has been suffering from a kidney related ailment for last 20 months; his both kidneys are dysfunctional, and is under dialysis twice a week during the period. The treatment, as we all know, is prohibitively expensive for a middle class, salaried person. By a conservative estimate more than 40 lakhs has already been spent.

He is scheduled to undergo a kidney transplant around the last week of Septemebr which at the least involves another expenditure to a tune of 10 – 12 lakhs. 

We feel this is an occasion for us to exhibit a spirit of solidarity and fraternity and come to his rescue. We appeal to you to contribute generously to save not only a fellow human being’s life, but to bail out a family as well, who depend on him for their sustenance, from destitution.
