As per the statement tabled by skills development minister Mahendra Nath Pandey in Rajya Sabha on Friday, 36.04 lakh candidates were trained under short term training (STT) component. Out of this, 18.95 lakh candidates have been placed (2.77 lakh – self-employed, 15.83 lakh – wage employed and 0.35 apprenticeship).

We urge everyone to be a part of this drive through which we are raising funds to help needy ones to learn new skill and train themselves which would further help them to earn and to stand on their own.are lacs of the population residing across various slums of Delhi NCR and the same number of unemployed people are residing in these slums areas.
It is very much evident that covid has brought very hard times in all of our lives and many of us have lost our source of income due to the same. But still, our savings has made us meet the ends. But imagine if you're a daily worker being dependent upon the daily wages and all of a sudden you're being barred from doing the same. All those little savings you have has already vanished.
Things will be really hard it will be almost difficult to arrange a one-time meal. Before covid, this situation might have been only in our imagination but as we all have faced this situation we know that situation like this can be real. This covid situation has surely taught us that we should be prepared for all the situation all the time.

Hamari Pahchan NGO has taken up the initiative to prepare for such a spontaneous situation. This organisation is teaching vocational skills to various men and women across many slums of Delhi since 2015. After covid Hamari Pahchan NGO has taken active participation in the initiative of Vocal for Local under the same we have provided vocational training to 1200 women providing them with the opportunity to earn their livelihood. Hamari Pahchan NGO has sold those products made by underprivileged women across the globe.

For the Skill Development Project, our organisation is preparing a short-term Diwali campaign. We have chosen 27 slums in Delhi where this programme would be carried out. Our organisation has been entrusted with the task of organising a three-day workshop in each cluster. For these workshops, we will offer trainers, raw materials, and a proper session in each of the chosen clusters. Those underprivileged women shall be provided with an opportunity to earn a living by selling the products made by them after the workshop.
You can help
