Aarunya aims to illuminate young minds and instill self-confidence at an early age. We aim to do this by delivering a communicative English curriculum to non-English speaking primary school children from the under-served sections of society.

Our focus is to improve their communication skills to build a solid foundation for higher education or the job market. First exposure to a new language is best done through communication. Young children are intrinsically better language learners because they are spontaneous and pick up new skills intuitively.

Aarunya is driven by a passionate team from diverse backgrounds with multiple skill sets.  Refined over 4 years of practical experience, our program provides an inclusive experience for each child, while instilling an eagerness to learn English. The curriculum incorporates multi-sensory activities with a high emphasis on simple and relatable vocabulary to enhance student confidence. Emphasis is given to nurturing their spirit by teaching them with love and understanding.

We are currently reaching out to 230 students in three schools through 55 teaching Volunteers in Bangalore.  Our goal now is to spread the program to more government schools in Bangalore. Our program prices are structured to enable maximum reach to as many children as possible while in no way compromising on the effectiveness of the program delivery.

Cost: Rs. 900 per student for 1 year    (Rs 70 / child / month) .
