Hi everyone,
I am a member of a school students based social organisation called Aarogya which is an initiative to work on 5 aspects related to medicines-
1) Prevention of self medication.
2) Prevention of malpractices like overdosing and consumption of expired medicines.
3) Fulfilling the shortage of medicines in rural areas.
4) Promoting Ayurveda
5) Ensuring safe disposal of medicinal waste and reuse of expired medicines.
The team has conducted awareness workshops for around 15000 people in Gurgaon.
Met the mayor and have planned workshops in 17 Government Schools.
Started its own medicine collection van and has put up 60 medicine collection boxes to collect unused medicines which would be donated to charitable dispensaries.
Collaborated with NITI AYOG'S ATAL INOVATION mission and hospitals like Medanta, Artemis etc. for research and development.
We are facing an acute shortage of funds and request you if you could help us by providing us funds upto Rs.15000.
We need funds to continue our initiatives and also provide monetary support to those who cannot afford medicines.
