I am Anand and I am here to raise funds for my friend's 3 year old son Aarif.
He was first diagnosed in the month of May 2018 with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). He underwent treatment at Kanchi Kamakoti Child Trust Hospital, Chennai under Dr.R.Vardharajan.
Treatment regimen: 2 cycles induction chemotherapy & 2 cycles intense consolidation chemotherapy. Completed treatment by End October 2018. During follow up bone marrow biopsy test in December, the reports shown lymphoid cells which is Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Doctor told as it has relapsed again and they need to do Bone marrow transplant(BMT), so better do the further treatment where they have the facility to BMT. So hence opted for CMC, Vellore and started the treatment from 21/01/2019.
They have spent around 14 Lakhs during his first treatment in Chennai but the cancer has relapsed again. Now the doctor at CMC say including Bone Marrow Transplant It May cost around Rs.40 Lakhs.
