Situation is grim and a large part of Kodagu is severely affected. Though rains have stopped and red alert withdrawn it is going to take some time for people to resume their normal daily lives.

Aadhyan is a Bangalore based NGO that undertakes disaster relief work across the country is gearing up for a short term and long term work like earlier big disasters.

Material- Blankets & woolens, tarpaulins/ old flex & ropes, mosquito nets, toiletries, utensils, Cooker (3 or 5 lts only ISI marked), buckets & mugs, water purifier tablets, candles & match boxes, solar lights, kids clothing, sarees, blouse, petticoat, lungis, nighty, towel, sanitary napkin, umbrellas, raincoat, bed sheets and curtains, new undergarments, slippers, sleeping mats, toys and school material.

Dry Ration- Rice( 10 kg/ 50 kg pt) , pulses (500 gm/ 1000 gm pkt), spices, rava, tea, sugar & coconut oil.
