Story
Achieving rights and opportunities for the handicapped and challenged population brought us to the forefront and as a registered organization initiated “Aadhar” (support) Rehabilitation Centre under the ages of Aadhar as a broad organization.
Aadhar, with its basic idea to work for the Handicapped population has concentrated and focused its efforts on protecting and promoting their human rights.
Addressing discrimination in legislation, policies, and society Aadhar contributes to an environment in which excluded people have more control over their lives. providing facilities for the people who lack support from the community and the families on one hand and ensuring community based rehabilitation on the other is something that Aadhar has been supporting from time to time.
Aadhar as an organization has residential and non-residential children studying as well as residing in its institutions. Apart from these there are a number of other activities that Aadhar undertakes with regard to devlopment of women and children from Aurangabad district of Maharashtra State. The organization has strongly felt that to offer a normal and home life a lot of programs should be organized and so with the help of volunteers and friends of Aadhar, the organization has established a number of programs related to extra curricular activities like Sports, Cultural programs and excursions.
