Mr.Degala Trinadha Rao, a 43-year old person from Hyderabad ,a daily wage labourer, is the sole bread winner of the family. He was first diagnosed with heart disease two years back. In these two years he almost spent 6 lakhs (which he secured by selling whatever property he is left with) on the tests and medicines. He has undergone treatment in the Apollo hospital ,Hyderabad and finally doctor’s declared that he need a heart transplantation as a life-saving measure at the earliest. He is also registered in the same hospital for a cadaver heart organ. 

Recently though there was a heart donor, he couldn’t get operated as the family didn't have the resources to fund the surgery and post-transplantation care, which would cost them more than 35 lakhs. He is currently in a situation where he couldn’t afford to pay Rs.12000 per month for his life-saving medicines. As he is not in a condition to work, his wife started working as a maid in the neighbouring homes to feed the family. His two kids  Pavani (14 years) and Divya (10 years) stopped going to school and the family even shifted to Mr.Degala Trinadha Rao brother’s home as he is unable to pay the school fee and house rent respectively. His condition is getting worse day by day and the only option he is left with is heart transplantation and which need to be performed as soon as possible (approximately in one or two months).

He approached TV-9, a telugu news channel for help and they broadcasted his condition and requested help from the viewers to save his life . I’m one of the viewer, contacted them and understood their desperate condition for help. I even met his doctor (Mr.Sanjay K Agrwal) , Apollo hospital and understood the patient condition that he immediately need a heart transplantation. So I started this campaign to raise as much funds as possible so that I can help Mr.Degala Trinadha Rao to get his surgery done.
