The Covid-19 Pandemic has affected people of all Economic and social backgrounds. As an immediate threat, it is a medical emergency and as a long-term threat it is a financial challenge. While the urban and rural middle-class are able to cope with some difficulty, the real challenge lies in addressing the problems of people whose means of survival is dependent on their day to day work  and support from the civil society.

We are a group of self-motivated volunteers who have engaged in the covid- aid work with Telangana Social impact group(TSIG) and SAFA Society and through our individual initiatives. Our work during this time has led us to realize that the majority of Civil society’s attention has been on the migrant poor, for the right reasons, we intend to engage in work that caters to the needs of the rural poor, orphanages and old- age homes, who deserve much more attention.

The effort is to deliver essential commodities, which can support their basic sustenance in these tough times. It is important for the growth of our Nation that the most vulnerable are supported in times of Crisis, it is also a statement to uphold Human dignity Collectively in times as such. We believe in collectively standing together and look forward to you joining and supporting us.

We look forward to supporting at least 20 communities/ 1500 households or an equal number of people with basic amenities, which might include rural households, orphanages and old-age homes.

Essential Commodities to be supplied will include:

Rice, Wheat Flour, Dal, Oil, Turmeric Powder, Mirchi Powder, Salt, Sugar, Tea Powder.

We also look forward to providing any essential commodities that might seem needed in specific communities(medicines, requirements of infants/ children, sanitary pads etc).

These would be supplied as per the requirement of the household or the community:

a) For households, commodities will be supplied to support them for 15 days .

b) For Communities in need,Commodities would be supplied at an upper limit of Rs 50,000 as per the requirement.

We will ensure all the money is spent in the right manner by providing the details and proofs of distribution, with all details mentioned clearly.
