Request for aid - Woman diagnosed with rare disease needs your help.
Neethu Sajith (30 years old), wife of Sajith John, Manjaly House, hailing from Attara, Angamaly, Kerala has become a victim of a rare and fatal disease called 'Acquired Haemophilia A' during her pregnancy period. This rare disease is known to affect only one in 15 lakh people. She is remaining in critical condition at Rajagiri Hospital, Aluva since then. She had been working as a nurse at Lissie Hospital, Ernakulam.
Despite her condition, Neethu gave birth to twins on 19/11/2018. Subsequently she suffered hemorrhage and was admitted to ICU and continuing there since 26/11/2018. When her condition became life threatening, she had to undergo an emergency operation and thereafter using the aid of ventilator for life support. She has not yet recovered from critical condition.
She is under treatment of Dr. VP Paily (Gynaecology dept) and Dr. Mobin Paul (Haemetology dept) at Rajagiri Hospital. A sum of Rs.16 lakhs has already been spent by the family towards the medical expenses. Her treatment requires medicines and injections worth Rs.3.60 lakhs on a daily basis (Nova7, FEIBA). As per doctors, her newborn babies are also feared to have acquired the disease.
Mr. Sajith who is working on contract based jobs, is unable to bear the huge expenses. The medical bills have wiped out their entire life savings and they are struggling to meet ends. Neethu's life can be saved only through contributions and prayers from kind people like you.
