My father Rajnish kumar is 55 years old. He is a person full of life, love and excitement.

On the festive ocassion of Raksha bandhan, we (my father, mother, me and my sister) had come to my maternal Uncle's home.
On Sunday 26th August, me and my younger sister left for our Jobs and my parents were to leave back home On 27th August. While he was taking bath, all of a sudden he fainted and crashed.

My uncle thought it might be due to High BP or low Sugar level, my father said he is having severe head ache.
They rushed him to nearby hospital, had all tests done where in it was clear of extreme bleeding that need to be treated asap. Evening at around 4 pm he was rushed to Fortis, Mohali. There Doctor informed its a case of ACOM Aneurysm (kind of Brain hemorrhage) in which the blood vessels in brain get ballooned up and burst due to high pressure. Back to back 2 major surgeries (Coiling and EVD insertion) were performed immediately.
My world shattered the moment I heard this news.
His smiling face continuosly flashes in my mind. Only a day before I hugged him and said see you soon before leaving.

Initially, The hospital gave us an estimate of 15 lakhs and min of 15-20 days of observation and bill and stay could be increased depending upon his stay in ICU and treatment.

To our worse, major and rare complications arise after surgery like Vasospam (shrinkage of blood vessels and bleeding in brain) caused paralysis on left side of his body
Another LIFE threatening complication, Ventriculitis/Meningitis CSF (Cebrospinal fluid) infection. The bacteria identified was sensitive to only one antibiotic which is last option to be used. If this didnt work, there is no medicine that could treat this infection. He is still going through those infections.
His concious level is negligible and eye opening is intermittent.

Tears swell up in my eyes every time I saw him unconscious lying down on ventilator support.

“There are days when I thought I couldn't do it anymore. But when I see my Father's face, I know I cannot give up. For the last 1 month, we are struggling to ensure father life is saved.
Sometimes, I feel very scared.
My mother and maternal uncle made every effort for my Father's treatment ever since he admitted to hospital.

Now its 41 days that he is in ICU and not sure how prolong it will be.
The bill amount has already reached upto 31 lakhs dated 5th oct and I am worried how far it will go.

“It’s been so long that we have heard his voice".
