Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL B-cell MLL positive)
and Congenital Heart Disease .
13 January 2017 :
When she was 3 months old, my husband and I had taken her to visit Dr. Mohan Kumar D for vaccination, during which the doctor noticed some irregularities and had prescribed few tests that had to be taken immediately.
The reports of the tests done at YASHODA HOSPITAL(Hyderabad, India) showed that my baby not only was suffering from Congenital Heart Disease but also from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia .
Following which we immediately admitted her to RAINBOW CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, INDIA.
She was prescribed 6 cycles of Chemotherapy for 8 months after which she showed improved health and was advised maintenance.
She received maintenance from Sept 2017 until June 2018.
On 6th JUNE 2018
Before her regular maintenance session the doctor noted that the counts of WBC were higher than normal in her blood reports.
She was immediately admitted and tested for relapse of Leukemia. She tested positive for the relapse.
Upon counselling from the doctor we learnt that the only way we could save our baby is to restart the chemotherapy and go for a bone marrow transplant as soon as she can, which has 20-30% chance of keeping my baby alive.
Since Bhanveesri is our only child and has no siblings , my husband and I are to be tested for the bone marrow transplant.
We have spent every rupee we have for the health of our only child.
Family and friends have been kind in coming forward to contribute.
But since my baby's case is critical and the surgery + treatment would cost upto Rs.40,00,000 (approximately 60,000 USD) and we have exhausted all our resources , I write with a heavy heart , it is crucial for my baby to get all the contributions she can get.
Every single contribution will help her get well.
Kindly Contribute and share it with everyone who can help my baby.
(I have enclosed all the reports and documents that help tell BHANVEESRI'S story)
