Basudha is non profit registered trust headed by Dr. Debal Deb (Rice worrier of India) . Basudha aims to conserve India’s vanishing rice varieties; encourage, demonstrate and support organic farming and traditional methods of multiple cropping; research in the human ecology of uncultivated foods from the wild; research and document ecoforestry practices; and preserve and develop local knowledge of biodiversity and its uses.  Basudha also gives practical training in ecological agriculture. Basudha never received any institutional support, neither domestic nor international organizations. Not only conservation of vanishing traditional rice varieties but also conservation and regenerate of critically endangered and rare plants from their native habitat.
As a social human being, I wish to contribute towards the great work running by Dr. Deb and his highly motivated team for last 20 years.
