A major accident that occurred on 15th July 2019 near KR Puram, Bengaluru,  took away the life of my cousin Preeti's husband Sesha reddy and left my cousin Preeti battling for life in ICU, since the time of accident. The reckless and rash driving by a negligent youth has shattered the dreams of a small family within seconds. Preeti’s husband Sesha reddy died on the spot and Preeti sustained severe internal injuries. Their 7 yr old daughter Keerti faced some injuries too. Immediately after accident, my cousin Preeti and her daughter were admitted to a nearby hospital.
Preeti was operated for multiple surgeries in the first hospital. But still her condition was critical and we shifted her to Apollo hospital on 19th July after paying almost Rs.4,00,000 in this hospital. Her condition continues to be critical till now and the internal infection due to accident injuries is spreading to entire body.
Preeti's husband Sesha reddy used to work at Nayaranya college, near hoskote, Bengaluru. They come from a middle class family and unfortunately the Life Insurance and Medical insurance that Shesha reddy had was very minimal. He didn’t had any term Insurance policy. Currently, Apollo hospital estimated a bill upto Rs.25,00,000 for Preeti's recovery. Their daughter Keerti recovered from injuries and is hoping that she will see her mummy and daddy soon. She doesnt know that her daddy passed away. We are all praying for Preethi's recovery so that the kid would be happy to see her mummy atleast. Preeti is still in ICU @ Apollo hospital, lying unconscious from the day of accident.
