Hey, I am Vaishnavi from Mumbai and I am taking care of two dozen dogs/cats by myself. This includes feeding them, taking them to the vet when necessary, and vaccinating them. I usually take care of the expenses by myself but clerical confusion at my previous place of work left me without income for two months. Further harassment by the landlord who wouldn’t allow me an extension for payment of rent left me penniless by the end of these two months.

I have no guardians to support me in my endeavors to help animals and no living kin. And the recent Corona Lockdown has made things all the more difficult for animals who were previously dependent on bits and pieces of food given to them. I have started a new job but it will be a month before I get my first salary. Till then I need to support myself and the animals around me.
