Our organisation People for Animals (PFA) Faridabad was established in the year 2007 for sick and injured stray animals in Faridabad . PFA Faridabad is a registered Charitable Trust under Indian Trust Act, 1860 and registered under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act, 1961. PFA Faridabad has got recognition from Animal Welfare Board of India, Ministry of Environment & Forests (Govt. of India) and is a member society of World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA)-U.K. PFA Faridabad campaigns for animal rights and respect for all life on earth. We work to rescue and rehabilitate sick and needy animals. We have set up a shelter, AASTHA SHELTER HOME at Ballabgarh. We organize sterilization programmes for dogs to control their population and give anti-rabies vaccines to street dogs from time to time to control Rabies, a fatal virus.


One of the major activities of PFA Faridabad is Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation. PFA Faridabad has rescued various animals like Snakes, Mongoose and Monkeys. Many birds like Parakeets, kites, Owls and Sparrows are rescued & rehabilitated by team PFA Faridabad.

Our members comprise from all walks of society and from all age groups, ranging from college going students to retired people, who want to spend their time usefully and meaningfully for a cause. Apart from taking care of sick and injured animals in our shelter, we organize workshops in schools to increase awareness towards stray animals and encourage ethical treatment of animals.
