Bread for Every Breath

Every ten seconds, a child dies of hunger. It is appalling to know that one-third of the food produced in the world is never consumed and that 82% of the hungry people live in countries with food surpluses and not food shortages. The National NGO Kitchen Initiative intends to bridge the gap between the programmes which are catering to the needs of many by providing them with food through catering (free of cost) nutrition enriched meals.

As part of this project we aim to build the biggest Food Distribution Programme in the world with an alternative economic eco-system for sustainability. The National NGO Kitchen Initiative wants to solve the problem of world hunger through providing adequate nutritious food to the ones in need with the support and participation of the public. The NNK Initiative aims to work with the general public by creating unique programmes through which they can participate and help solve problems which otherwise would have been inaccessible and improbable for them.

Through our initiative National NGO Kitchen we strive to feed as many people as we sustainably can, to move towards a Hunger Free India. Nearly 42% of all Indian children are undernourished. By balancing meals according to beneficiary type (proteins for kids, digestibles for old, etc.), we ensure better nutrition intake for all.

Our focus is on feeding individuals regular meals, especially those who cannot earn for themselves. We work to end hunger and malnutrition in India by providing free food to vulnerable people. We help people stand up on their feet so they can acquire education, get work, play and live a better life. We do not discriminate against beneficiaries based on their religion, gender, age, color, nationality, etc.

As an organization working towards eradicating world hunger, the first step should come from home. The NNK has started by curating meals for food programmes running in Delhi NCR through the usage of our base kitchen model. We prepare hygienic and nutritious food at our base kitchen and distribute it to 500 people as our initial target which costs us ₹12000 on a daily basis.

Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity, it is an act of justice. If you can't feed a hundred people, then you can surely do your part by feeding at least one person. Join us in making a Hunger Free India. We are currently looking for sponsors to help us feed the hungry. We request you to please come forward to make India hunger free by supporting this campaign.  We would highly appreciate if you could pledge to sponsor food for as many people as you can.

Hunger hurts! Stop talking, start sharing.
