Our friend Rathna Kumar’s daughter, Baby Sastika Sree (5 years old) has been diagnosed with Metastatic Neuroblastoma, and is undergoing treatment at Apollo Cancer Institute Chennai. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy which will be followed by surgery - Autologous stem cell transfusion, High dosage chemo therapy & radio therapy.

We sincerely appeal to everyone to make generous monetary contribution to the child. The overall expense is expected to be around 22 lakh Rupees; hence please contribute generously.

Thank you all for the immense support and love you have shown us.

We have some unfortunate news to share with you. Baby Sastika is no more. Her cancer had relapsed, and none of the medicines were making a difference to her health. The funds donated here have been utilized for her treatment.

Please pray for her soul and her family.

Thank you for the wonderful support that you have shown towards Sastika. I have some good news to share with you today.

Her health is on a positive trend and is constantly improving. She has completed the radiotherapy cycles that were initially prescribed to her. She has been advised regular follow-ups and the doctors monitor her health closely.

I would like to thank you all once again and would also request you to please pray for her health and speedy recovery.

Dear supporters,
We thank you all for your support.

As of now, there has been no complication post bone marrow transplant, just the minute side effects. Sastika will be undergoing radiotherapy from tomorrow as a precautionary measure after the transplant. Doctors have suggested that the radiotherapy will continue till the first week of April.

The family is eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second baby. We need your support and we hope that you all will pray for her speedy recovery.

We are currently withdrawing 700 dollars to the hospital account to settle the bills.
