"Karunyatheeram" a unique campus for the differently abled
Karunyatheeram is an undertaking by Healthcare Foundation,solely aimed at extending support and assisstance to the most deserved part-The differently abled children of our soceity.It strives to uplift them to the mainstream and assist them to become independent.
Karunyatheeram was started in the year 2010 to cater the needs and assistance of physically and intellectually disabled children.The campus that spans around 1.5 acres in the Kattippara Grama Panchayath Of KozhicodeDistrict,Kerala ,South India has 120 students along with their trainers.
The campus has a special school,vocational training centre inside and a job unit also functions within.
The special school provides the following facilities absolutely free .
The school is a result of huge investments made in the form of prayers ,hard work,generosities and kind heartedness of its well wishers.As the school grows,the financial requirement to aid the functions also increases.The various activities connected with the functioning of the school accounts to an expense of more than Rs 2.75 lakh per month.Besides this,the constructional and structural works of the campus is under progress and requires huge amount for the completion of the same.It becomes a tough time for the fronttrunners of the institution to make it happen every month and often need to spend enormously larger amount of time finding financial aids for the various operations.
The campaign intends to raise funds to meet expense of salary, hostel construction, flooring and wall painting of class rooms .In the current scenario, Karunyatheeram Special school finds it difficult to support the requirements of our kids.
