Why am I fundraising?

There are about 70% women are jobless, wihtout any income or access to a marketing facility. In Bangalore where BIRDS is working with 5000 women in Women Self Help Groups are very good entrepreneurs but they are not allowed to go out and earn by the family or due to their responsibility in their home. So we are planning for a Mahila Sante (Women Market) a platform only for a women to execute their marketing skill. All those women who are involving in the production of certain products are registered and call for open marketing event. A public awareness for this event created through social media and other IEC material and continued to happen in a particular day of every month.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

The money whtever collected throuhg this forum are utilised to advertise this Mahila Sante a marketing platform for women. It will be advertised in print and visual media and as well as thorugh social media. Expenses meant to register and display all those products prepared by women in Bangalore Rurla and Urban Districts. A marketing place arrangement will be done with mat, table to exhibit their products, tent to safeguard them from sunlight and bore little bit transport facility.
