Hi Everyone,

I am doing my bit in helping a friend of mine recover from the mental and physical trauma she has been encountering since 2012.

Alekhya was just like one of us, until 2012. She was pursuing her Bachelors, she noticed she wasn't able to walk like before.

Visits to doctors and subsequent medical tests confirmed that she suffered from "muscular dystrophy" a rare disease that will cut-off muscular activities in the human body gradually, and bed-ridden.
She has already lost her ability to walk on her own and needs support.

Since her parents and friends wanted her to have a beautiful life, they got her married to a person who despite being made aware of all her medical issues, harassed her, cheated her and left her once she was pregnant. Her parents have already spent 50 lakhs on her wedding, jewels and dowry. They have filed a complaint and the case is up for hearing soon.

Alekhya since 2012 has lost her ability to walk, was cheated by the person she thought would be her soulmate, is now dependent on her middle-class parents who have given their everything for her and has a baby who is hardly few months old.

I personally verified the medical reports, checked the FIR copies and spoken to her.

She needs help with her bills for physiotherapy, medical support to keep her treatments going and to help her battle her husband at court.

To people who question the sanctity of the reports, please contact me on mitaa.nandy@gmail.com, I will share the FIR reports and any details you require.

To my friends overseas, if we can spend 30$ on movies or eating out, please pay towards her cause and help this brave soul fight life, unlike others who fail to appreciate human life.

Thank you🙏🏻
