We never knew that my mother's fever was a symptom of cancer . We went to the hospital for check up and were informed that its not just any fever , she has cancer. The news was devastating and at that very moment the ground beneath us slipped .
My mother is 51 yrs old,our home maker. She was diagnosed with Acute myeloid (or myelogenous) leukemia (AML) and the doctor's say that she needs a Bone marrow Transplant.
 It felt like we lost it even before the battle began , when the doctor's told us , we will have to pay a huge sum of  35 lakhs for the transplant  along with the heavy costs of chemotherapy to save her.
We suffer every day watching her battle this ailment . My younger brother and sister wait up all night wanting her to come back home.
" Help us save our Mother "
