Help a farmer, he brings food to your table

More than 2 lakh farmers have ended their lives in the past 10 years . In towns and cities, their heart rending stories are almost never heard, or if heard, quickly forgotten.
 Naam, an organisation founded by Nana Patekar and others , is holding out a hand of help to distressed ---- don't kill yourselves, it says, ask us for help if loans are crushing the life out of you.
Shall we help Naam?
Let us pledge that on every occasion we celebrate, 10 percent of the budgeted amount will be donated to Naam.
10 per cent is the minimum ---- it can go as high as 100 percent .
Lets do someting , even if it is ad hoc, temporary, and not a solution to the systemic ills that plague agriculture.
