A term which has placed the entire world in fear. In the current scenario, many measures and precautions are taken by the government. Guidelines of do’s and don’t are provided by the government and world health organization(WHO). But the cases are still rising exponentially.

In our initiative to fight against corona virus

What we are doing -

1. Raw or Cooked Food distribution to daily wage earners.
2. Door to Door awareness campaign in slums and villages 

• Distributing hard copies of guidelines by the WHO and the goverment on the do's and don't.
• Distributing helpline no. given by goverment and need to use it if any symptoms mentioned above are visible.

3. Distribution of Safety kit(Mask & Soap) in order to fight against coronavirus for every member of the concerned family.

Why it's needed -

1. Daily wage earners are severely affected by Lockdown as they have left with  no source of income and now hunger is much bigger problem for them before Coronavirus. Many of these people belonged to marginalised section of society who are not register labour and does not come under relief policies introduced by government.
2. A middle and upper class citizens can purchase a Corona protection kit but  poor people who have to fight daily for food won't buy it but to stop the chain of coronavirus it is necessary for every person of this country to have corona protection kit before Covid-19 comes to stage-3 of community spreading.
3. Impact of corona can only be controlled if effort is unanimous.

How it’s done -

1. Distribution of Coronavirus protection kit, hard copy of guidelines and  Food items (Raw or Cooked)  is done by only 2 volunteers covering nearly 300 people at once.
2. While doing that volunteers who are distributing coronavirus protection kit or Food will wear masks, clean their hands with sanitizer from time to time and will follow social distancing norms of WHO.
3. Door to Door awareness is done to avoid any crowd gathering.
4. Cooked food and fruits are provided as part of meal per day.
5. Food is cooked in sanitized environment and all the vegetables are washed thoroughly before use.
6. Distribution is done after taking permission from the concerned authorities and through approved vehicle only.

What we have done so far -

1. Distributed 3000 meals to labourers (In Delhi and Gwalior). 
2. We have distributed 50 masks and 50 sanitizer in families of  KD colony camp, Delhi.
3. We have distributed 300 masks in ramji slum area, ghatkopar, Mumbai (Maharashtra).
4. We have distributed 650 masks in JJ colony camp, Delhi.
5. Distributed hard copies of guidelines by WHO and government.

What we are planning to do -

1. Distribution of 15,000 masks across different slums and villages across India.
2. Door to Door awareness campaign across different slums and villages in India.
3. Basic health checkup camp across different slums and villages in India.
4. Food distribution to 500 labours during lockdown period

Thousands have lost their lives, millions are already infected. We can get past this worse time frame. All we have to do is put in a unanimous effort.
