Why am I Fundraising?
I am arpita S. Ghadge. My 2 month young baby Avighna is fighting with liver disease called Criggler Najjar Syndrome. Our first baby Prapti was died because of same liver disease .we can not saved her that time because of financial condision . Avighna is young fighter with a strong will power . after all investigation doctor suggest Avighna`s liver needs liver transplant as early as possible.
About Avighna
Avighna was born in 9th month of pregnancy. His birth weight is 3 kg. After 7 days we observed that his eyes were yellow and were showing symptoms of jaundice. soon he was diagnosed with rare liver condition called Criggler Najjar Syndrome. Doctors then suggested a surgery called liver transplant. So Avighna need to undergo liver transplant.

Doctor suggest to give phototherapy at home 10 to 12 hour for control his bilirubin till liver transplant surgery.
What is Crigglar Najjar Syndrome
Criggler Najjar Syndrome is a rare inherited disorder affecting the metabolism of bilirubin, a chemical formed from the breakdown of the heme in red blood cells. The disorders results in a form of nonhemolytic jaundice, which results in high levels of unconjugated bilirubin and often leads to brain damage in infants.
We have gone to several hospitals to see what is the best we can do for Avighna Doctors have carried out tests and confirmed that both I and shailesh are suitable donors for Avighna .although liver transplant is the only way to save our baby Avighna. The huge sum of RS 2550000 lac required to carry out. The process is impossible to arrenge. Only your support can help us save our baby Avighna.
