The campaign, in collaboration with Kailash Sathyarthi Children's Foundation is a fund collection drive for supporting orphaned children who have lost both their parents to COVID-19.
The foundation expects to support the education of 80 kids for one year in the first phase and will expand the coverage based on funds raised. While the foundation will take care/identify NGOs who will take care of food, shelter, and other necessities of the children, the funds raised here will be used to ensure good education and development for these kids. They intend to conduct such annual campaigns to cover education costs till they reach the age of 18.
The funds will be used for educational expenses (fees, books, stationery, extra-curricular activities) so that they can flourish in their respective choice of careers. Their target fundraise is INR 171.2 lakhs.
