Everyday more than 12000 people dies due to lack of blood in India. Saving millions of lives every year is possible if only 1% more of eligible blood donor donates blood. However the situation is worse and due to which many people are dependent on paid donors or relatives (which is not possible for poor people or who are getting treatment away from their home).

Thats why we created Simply Blood to help those people in time and save every possible potential life in January 2017. We have saved more than 2000 potential lives till date using the platform in more than 11 countries and we have a mission to save 1 million potential lives by 2020.

We saw a huge number of blood donors registering to our platform but the number needs to be improved as the more number of blood donors we have the more number of lives we can save.

Mission:
To save 150,000 potential lives by spreading awareness among people to donate blood.

Why a walk?
This walk will attempt to inspire atleast 150,000 people eligible to donate blood and ask them to take a pledge to donate blood atleast once in their lifetime.  The walk is designed to touch all states and union territories of India, Nepal and Bhutan covering around 15,000 kms in 6 months including metro cities, villages and urban areas of India.
