Why am I fundraising?

The floods have left over 269 dead in Tamil Nadu, said Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Lok Sabha. He described the situation as "alarming". At the Parliamentary meet, the Center described the situation in Chennai as "worrisome"

What do I plan to do with the funds?

Please donate what you can, and may be a little more. I am still in the process of getting in touch with NGOs, and grass roots activists to get to know how best the money can be utilized and constantly update you on how things are.

I am an insignificant person (Personally donating Rs.1,00,000 fund), a drop in the ocean trying to gather both friends and strangers to support this cause.
