The district of Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh has a grim scenario when it comes to education – over 80% students drop out of school even before completion of Class Xth. Ajanti a girl from interior now student of B.A honors in Linguistic form central university was like one of many aspiring minds, who on given a chance took up the stewardship of rural India. Bharat Calling is our way to give them that one opportunity and getting empowered through getting into courses of their own choices in higher education. This whole support reduces college dropouts, SC/ST empowerment, Remittance-fuelled growth and most significantly, pushing the aspiration notch higher. Started in 2009 with a batch of 50 students, Bharat Calling has now spread to 932 villages in M.P. and has connected more than 280 students to prestigious universities of India.

400 rupees for one 45 minute awareness session in an interior area on helping students to make informed career choices- we have total of 150 schools totaling cost of 60000 rupees

2000 rupees for food arrangement of the student to reside in higher education preparation camp for 20 days- we will target 150 students this year totaling cost of 300000 rupees

3000 rupees for the remuneration to the volunteers from various colleges of India, to teach, motivate, inspire and facilitate youths in summer camp for 20 days- we will have 20 volunteers this year t

4000 rupees for the food arrangement of the volunteers during camps- we will have 20 volunteers thus totaling up 80000 rupees

Where the fund will go- Towards conducting the 20 summer camps preceded with awareness sessions in various 150 schools in rural parts benefiting 1000 students for getting into colleges of their own choices.

Reporting mechanism- Every contributor will get an impact letter written directly by the students
