Sukhad project is a great initiative by a nonprofit organization called Hamari Pahchan. This NGO has many projects but I, from my teen, always wanted to contribute in a project like this because in this era also, many people feel hesitant to even tell the word "menstrual periods" out loud. Some people thinks it's a taboo or some even called it a disease and by the help of this project we will teach womens about it and that will be even better if they can give some information related to it in their families so that they can help the ladies on their period. We will provide kits to use in the monthly periods for hygiene purpose and also provide them disposable envelope for the environment and if they want to work, we will provide them work of making disposable envelope and from this they can earn.
Sukhad project will help us in eradicating the taboo related to menstrual hygiene and we will try to educate maximum people about periods. This year we aim to distribute 50,000 sukhad kits.
Per kit price: Sukhad kit for 1 woman = Rs. 1,400/-
Sukhad kits for 5 women = Rs 7,000/-
24 packets of sanitary pad
6 packets of soap
