26-year-old Meenakshi felt dizzy and fell unconscious. She was rushed to the hospital where she was unresponsive for a while. After tests and several consults, she was diagnosed with blood cancer. Meenakshi needs a bone marrow transplant to survive this disease.

Meenakshi comes from Thiruvannamalai where she lives with her husband, Babu and three young children ages 6, 4 and 2.  Babu works in a flower shop earning Rs. 100-300/day to support his family that includes his elderly parents.

The family cannot afford the surgery that can save Meenakshi's life. The cost estimated is Rs. 20 Lakhs, and Babu is out of options to arrange for this kind of money as he is struggling to manage day-to-day expenses.
