Help most underprivileged adiwasi tribal people of Khuranda panchayat in this fight against hunger created out of this pandemic.
These marginalized families are those who are not getting benefited by any of the governmental schemes eg. those who do not have a Ration card, BPL certificate and other necessary documents to avail the government welfare schemes. The worst affected people due to the lockdown are the daily wage workers who're the bread winner of their family but now they' are abandoned.

Gram Bharti is registered under the societies Registration Act 1860, in the year 1977 and has been working in the most backward and naxal affected area of Bihar from past 4 decades.

Our close service area Khuranda panchayat of Jamui District in Bihar have
about 1500 families. There are approx70% of population belongsto
scheduled castes and tribes and the major source of their livelihood is working in neighbor cities as daily wage workers. On our observation we
came to the conclusion that about40%(apprx600families)don’t even have
ration cards of Dahua,Ghorparan,Patua,Salkhodih,Amaraidih and Tatwa
tola villages of Khuranda panchayat The area have a major population of
tribal and adiwasi people and due to the current nationwide lockdown, they
have lost their jobs and thus their livelihood.
In our current fight against hunger created out of covid19,Gram Bharti
proposes to distribute Emergency Relief Kit among 600 lessprivileged
families of the above mentioned villages of Khuranda panchayat.
