Pinki, a 30-year-old married woman from the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, lives with her family of four. She and her husband work in the agricultural fields, managing the cultivation of their land. Together, they earn a monthly income of INR 25,000, which is insufficient to meet the needs of their family. To improve their livelihood, they plan to expand their cultivation of paddy, corn, Cabage,Brinjale and Pinapple. However, they require additional resources, including seeds, manure, pesticides, and fertilizers, which need to be purchased from the local market. To achieve this, Pinki, along with her friends who are also engaged in agribusiness, is seeking a loan of INR 250,000 from WeGrow, one of Milaap’s field partners. This financial support will help them invest in expanding their respective farming activities, ultimately improving their income and securing a better future for their families. They are deeply grateful for any support extended to them.
