Why am I fundraising?

I am fundraising to do an inclusive dance festival, Tandav. On 2014 Nov 16th we did the first edition of Tandav below Vivekanada Metro Station, Bangalore. People from various backgrounds (People with Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Low Vision, Hard of Hearing, Autism, Cerbral Palsy, Physical Disability, Down Syndrome, Kids from Labour Colony and Orphanages) got exposed to 7 forms of dance and celebrated togetherness through dance.

Last year we benefited 500+ people. This year on 2015 Dec 13th we want to reach 1000+

What do I plan to do with the funds?

• With the funds we will provide transportation to all the particpants (beneficaries) to reach the venue

• Break fast, Lunch and Evening Snacks will be provided

• Gifts and goodies will be given to all the kids

• Venue and Setup for the event will be managed

• Certificate, broucher etc will be printed.

How is Tandav relavant?

How many of us or our close people know basics of atleast one dance form? This question encouraged us to teach kids dance at summer camps and other events. Tandav aims at exposing kids to various dance forms and celebrating togetherness through dance.

What is an Inclusive Dance Festival?

This event will include anyone from any background (Subject to registration with event). Person with Disability, Transgender, SC, ST, Male , Female all are welcome in our event.
