The idea of Swayambhu is to bring biomass revolution in Bihar and extend this idea to national level. Bihar being agriculture based state, organic wastes including cowdung, human excreta, agriculture and all kinds of wastes are being neglected though it can become a good source of energy in future. Issues solved at greater extent are sanitation and health. Biogas solves the issue of cooking gas and electricity whereas its by-product is organic manure can be used for organic farming. Overall it will lead to generate good livelihood for all.

My venture has been collaborated with an organization works for livelihood program in Bihar; they have formed SHGs (12 members in each group i.e. 12 families included) named as village committee in all 38 districts of Bihar, 10-12 VC forms one community labor force which includes approx 155 families on an average total population i.e. 700 people will be benefited with one biogas plant.
All village committees are supported by the organization for cattle rearing and other activities. Each committee has on an average 13 to 15 cattles or even more which will fulfill the need of input material of biogas plant i.e. cow dung. My entity will merge with all Village Committees especially with those who are deprived of cooking gas and electricity. This will produce employment at local level and awareness too. The biogas produced can serve the purpose of either cooking gas, electricity or even both to all the households of committee members or non-committee members depending upon their needs.

Our aim can be replicated to other places. Our main aim is to aware people regarding value of waste which many of us ignore in our daily life. People will become more aware and active for this particular sanitation issue. The fund raised by this platform will help me in expanding my organization, from operational point of view it would help me in generating more employment to local ones and also for R&D of the technology of this project.
