Why am I fundraising?

Mumbai every year faces heavy rainfall. Several thousands of homeless take shelter under a bridge. This place is not warm enough. Most of them are wet all day for days together. This includes small children too. 

What do I plan to do with the funds?

We plan to buy tents for such affected homeless. We will make the purchase of 10 such tents each one costing roughly around Rs. 3000. The tents are not replacement for a permanent house but children and elderly can take cover in these tents during the monsoon season.

This activity is on the trial basis. If it is successful we might raise more funds to support the homeless.
