My name is Mohammed Shahnawaz, a childhood friend of Suresh. I, on behalf of him and our JNV school alumni group, have created this campaign . This month he has been diagnosed with blood cancer (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) is a deadly type of blood cancer and without regular treatment one cannot survive.

Suresh is a migrant from Bihar's one of the flood-ravaged backward region and a small time employee in a private firm at Ludhiana. He is a father of sweety (6 year old daughter) and Satyam (4 year old son). The total household income is Rupees 15000 per month and with this money his family can not bear the costly treatment of regular chemotherapy. His school (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalya) alumni group have mobilized the initial costs and resources. He has been admitted to SPS Apolo in Ludhiana for initial chemo. Though he has been shifted to more affordable AIIMS,New Delhi couple of days back but his family is struggling hard to get a bed at the hospital. Doctor is anticipating initial treatment cost of rupees 7,00,000 and in this kind of cases this may go up to Rupees 20,00,000. His family and school alumni group has been tring hard to arrange for the funds. The only option left for him now is to ask for your help.
