Why am I fundraising?

Sir syyed English trombay school is a english medium school where most of the kids belongs to a verly low income family background. Most of the family in involved in Zari work for their livelihood. The school, being a low income school does not have a good economical strength to provide good facility to the students. There is no economical backup to engage the kids in some extra curricular and learning activities.Neither they could facilitate any indoor or outdoor sports activity for the kids. Even in their community they do not have proper place to play anything. There is even no library setup for the kids where they could read some other books of their interrest.

I being a Teach For India Fellows started teaching grade 4 kids from 2015 session under the fellowship program. After joining the school and teaching them for few months I got very much impressed with their learning capability. Some of my kids are really talented. I am trying my level best to give them a better opportunity to learn and guide them in best possible way. In todays world where kids in other high income private schools have lots of activity and learning opportunity in best possible way, we are not able to provide the same facility up to some extent to kids in our school due to financial constraint.

I am starting this compaign to raise the funds for my kids. I am sure that with your all your helps I would be in a better position to arrange them some extra learning activity, setup a proper library for my kids and arrange good study matarial for them.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

With the fund raised I would try to arrange following for my kids:

• Setup a proper library where they can read books of their choice. Because the more you read the more you learn
• Arrange some indoor games my kids
• Arrange stationay item for them
• An Audio-Video classroom accessories (Speaker)
• Provide them more study matarials in printouts format
• Provide them opportunity to participate for interschool competition.
