I am Haseena Jan wife of Late Mukhtar Khan, aged about 48 years and I live in Mysore, Karnataka state in India. I am a mother to 4 daughters and 3 sons. My first daughter and son are married. My second daughter is doing B.Ed after her B.Sc degree she wants to become a teacher, my third daughter is doing BSW degree and fourth is pursuing her B.E in computers. My first son is an electrician, second is a working in a factory and third as a sales person in a garment store. 

We lived in a village called Gargeshwari, 30 Kms from Mysore. My husband was plumber; I lost him in 2002 due to heart attack. There after I worked hard to raise my children and to give them good education. I rolled beedies to earn money for livelihood later I worked as a daily wage but nothing worked. We had to leave the village and shifted to Mysore. In Mysore my first daughter and I took a tailoring class and started stitching ladies night wear (Nighties) at Rs. 3 per wear for a garment shop owner. With these earnings I managed to pay for the education of my daughters and I raised them. I arranged marriage for my first daughter and now she has 1 year old daughter. With my age I started getting knee pain and my vision reduced little bit, now I cannot able to peddle the sewing machine as a result our nighty stitching work is now stopped. My last son after his pre university college joined as the sales boy at garment shop. Now my daughters have entered degree colleges and their fees is rising, I am unable to bear the burden, it is highly difficult to manage for their education and with no saving 

I cannot assure them of marriages and good life. My first son, an electrician earns very less which is insufficient he takes care of our food expenses and my second and third son combine are paying the home rent. I am worried about their future; since my first daughter was married to a driver because she was uneducated and with little money we had raised for her marriage, I always regret and cry thinking about her because my daughter is not happy. I do not want this to be repeated for my remaining daughters. Hence with my own experience of garment business and with support of my son who is also into sales in a garment store and with support of my daughters along with their education want to start my own boutique.  I am highly motivated and confidant of doing this business.

We need this fund urgently in about a month to start this business. I need minimum of Rs. 12,00,000 to initiate. The major portion would be advance for the shop which is Rs. 5,00,000 in a city area, About Rs. 50, 000 for interiors,  Rs. 50,000 to buy some sewing machines, about Rs. 50,000 to buy materials, about Rs. 4,00,000 for clothing and garments and about Rs. 1,00,000 to buy ladies foot wear and fashion items. It will be an all under one roof boutique and fashion store exclusively for ladies. It will have readymade clothing, all kinds of ladies garments, designer jewelry, foot wear, all make up and cosmetics items, bridal items and services such as designer garment stitching, henna decoration for ladies etc.

I am not asking your help for my daughters’ education neither for their marriage and future directly, but instead help me and empower me, because I want to work hard for them, I don’t want to sit idle. I want to earn for my children and for myself, for my good health. In return I vow to help other woman in distress after I will be successful in my venture. Please help me every one.
