Why am I fundraising?

I am doing my two years fellowship with Teach for India. Currently I am teaching in a all girls low income private primary school in Ahmedabad and contributing towards Teach for India's vision that one day ALL children will attain an excellent education. We believe in education equity and that no child should be deprived of Right to Education regardless of his/her economic background.I am raising funds to make my classroom print-reach so that the learning is more fun and they get exposed to all the opportunities.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

The funds will help me to get resources like Printer, Laminator, Speakers, Stationery ( charts, colors, notebooks, etc), Grade level reading books

The girls in my school do come from  families where the value of education  is very low. Most of them dropout before reaching secondary school due to early marriage. They don't have much goals for their life. I want to expose them to different things happening in the world and also awaken in them a desire to get excellent education
