Why am I fundraising?

"We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give!" I have seen the joy on the faces of specially abled children who have been given the light of hope. The hope of a better tomorrow - shown by Ashwasan Trust.
I'm fundraising for Ashwasan trust which is a charitable wing of Parijma neurodiagnostic and rehabilitation centre formed by a group of like-minded patients and few faculty of Parijma. Ashwasan aims at distribution of free anti epileptic drugs. Authentic patients who are below poverty level are identified and supported. They also provide special appliances & equipment to handicapped children for their rehabilitation. Ashwasan also organises various free events such as the Epilepsy day, the Cereberal Palsy day etc., where children learn social skills and behaviour.
I intend to run at various running events in India upto the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon on 17th January 2016 promoting Ashwasan Trust. I seek your support in this act of spreading joy to these children for whom running is only a dream!

What do I plan to do with the funds?

Your donations will directly go to Ashwasan Charitable Trust. It will be used to buy rehabilitation equipment and distributed to the physically challenged children. It will also be used to buy anti-epileptic medicines for children from families who cant afford them. Donations from India are INCOME TAX EXEMPTED (under section 80G of income tax act 1961). All work for trust are carried out by volunteers & trustees without monetary returns. All events and promotions organised annually are sponsored by corporate organisations. Hence all donations are used only for betterment of disabled children.
