CONTRIBUTE TO THE HISTORICAL MOVE TOWARDS PRO-POOR EDUCATION POLICY - RTE 25% IMPLEMENTATION IN UTTAR PRADESH:

Dear friends and supporters of #MissionRTEUP and Bharat Abhyudaya Foundation,

We are glad to inform you that with our continued efforts and your great support, UP has created history by admitting 4400+ Economically and socially weaker section students in Private schools across 26 districts under RTE 25% reservation (compared to just 54 last year). For the first time UP govt opened its arms and decided to wholeheartedly implement RTE Section 12. Admissions have been taking place in Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Moradabad, Meerut, Varanasi, Aligarh, Rampur and Faizabad.

One reputed and highly resourceful private school had unfortunately denied RTE admissions in Lucknow and approached High Court, Double Bench and finally Supreme Court. Justice prevailed and 13 poor kids in a historical development won the case.

We now need a lot of support from you in terms of resources. Please donate wholeheartedly to our mission that shouldn't suffer due to lack of funds. Every penny you donate in the link below will take UP a step closer to creating history.

BAF was the first organization in UP that highlighted the dismal state of implementation of Right to Education Act's 25% reservation of poor children from Economically Weaker Section as well as Disadvantaged Community in unaided Private Schools. BAF has worked extensively in advocacy space in bringing about key policy reforms in RTE 25%reservation provision and engaged media, government and other stakeholders in ensuring its effective implementation

We now target  to reach out to 10,000 poor EWS children and help them get their rightful admission in private  school in Lucknow by June 2016.

We are also closely working with the government to build capacity and strengthen institutional machinery to facilitate successful implementation of the RTE 25% reservation.

What do I plan to do with the funds?
