Debasree's disease has relapsed even after successful bone marrow treatment. She is hospitalised now. She is supposed to go through next BMT in the first week of July.

Dear supporters,
I am Debotri, a fellow at Milaap. Here is an update on Debasree's health.
Her last update was on 24th May, 2016. She was taken to the hospital without delay. They were almost in a shock when the doctor informed them that her BMT has relapsed. "We did not know what to do. We were not in a stage to cry. The only thought that kept me going is how to arrange the money for the second BMT", said Urmimala.
Currently she is in the hospital, undergoing her first cycle of chemotherapy. Only after this, her BMT procedure will start. Debasree's treatment till now was possible because of all the donors who extended their support and contribution.
"My sister is a real fighter. She is a real hero! If I was at her position, I would give died long back. We are trying every possible means to help her out. It will extremely grateful if you could also share the story and help us. We require a lot of money to continue her second BMT", said Nilanjan, the brother.

I spoke to Debasree's sister, Urmimala, yesterday evening. From the past one month, she has improved a lot. Most of her reports are normal. She can move around in the house without much difficulty. And her food habits are also normal, although it has to be only home cooked food.
However, the doctor has called Urmimala today and advised Debasree to come to the hospital without much delay. We will keep you posted on her progress.
Debasree, a graphic designer, dreams of engaging herself. She wishes to work as a freelancer very soon.
