I'm glad to inform you that Gokul responded well towards the antibiotics and now the infection (sepsis) has been cured completely. The latest Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) culture reports are negative on the infection analysis. His EVD tube has been removed.
His fluid drain levels are currently under observation, after which the insertion of the VP Shunt will be decided.

Regarding Gokul’s condition, there has been no significant change since we started the campaign. His vitals are stable while his brain function continues to be low.
He is currently on maximum medication to control infections. Gokul had another EVD tube procedure done on 22nd Dec on his right side to drain the fluid. As soon as the sepsis moves out he will have to go through another surgery to insert the VP Shunt.
