Update - 23/12/2016:

Dear All,

Thanks for your kind support extended to Kiran & his family both financially and by sharing this page with your friends/network.

Here is a brief update on behalf of Kiran's family -

Based on my phone conversation today, I understand his latest platelet count stands at ~28000. This is after full platelet transfusion that is done last week. Week on week Doctor's are monitoring his situation and transfusions (half/full) are being done according to his reports each week.

As shared earlier, we are still reaching out to various contacts/organizations in search of BMT donor for Kiran as a permanent solution to this disease.

Test Reports: I shall gather his reports in the coming weeks and shall add them here for your kind reference and perusal.

We continue to pray for the best to happen and shall keep you all posted about his health condition on a periodic basis.

Update - 25/11/16:

Dear All, 

Many Thanks to your kind contribution and financial support extended to Kiran & his family. This means a lot to his family and goes a long way in morally, financially supporting them.

Kiran is undergoing ATG therapy from Manipal hospitals currently. This required continuous monitoring and blood/platelet transfusions are happening on a regular basis as we understand. Often the the platelet counts are dropping drastically and the count dropped to 9000 yesterday. He had a platelet transfusion on doctors advice immediately on 24th Nov'16. As per doctors, he is still young and they would prefer to keep him under observation for another 30 to 45 days before they proceed with Bone Marrow Transplantation.
