Thank you for being kind with your contribution and standing with people of Assam during this crisis hour. Below is an update on current situation.
The Flood situation is still critical at Assam. Already 27 human lives have lost life and affecting around 60 lakhs people. Lakhs of people are taking shelters at approx 400 camps. Even farm lands are sub-merged at almost all districts. 90% Kaziranga National Park is also sub-merged.

The Assam Association of Bangalore is connecting with hundreds of families from all corners to support the flood victims by donating relief materials. There are more than 10 drop zones are created where people are delivering relief materials. We are also getting support from various organizations, schools, offices, apartments in terms of donating relief materials.

The first shipment of the materials will be sent to Assam early next week.
The fund collected here will be used to procure locally available essentials required on ground (from water bottles to diapers, napkins).
