Dear supporters,

The PET scan has reported no metabolic activity in Vivash. Chemotherapy has responded well. We have to do 9 more cycles of Chemo. On Monday we admitted Vivash for next cycle. We will update you soon on his progress.

Thanks for keeping him in your prayers. We need your support to get through this phase.

Dear friends and supporters,

Here is an update on Vivash’s treatment.

Vivash underwent his third cycle of chemotherapy in the last week of December. After he was discharged from the hospital, he went through high fever, running nose and loss of appetite. He has been advised to take complete rest at home. He has to go for regular checkups, once in every week.

The 4th set of chemotherapy is expected to begin on 23rd January, only after which the doctors can confirm whether Vivash needs a Bone Marrow Transplant or to continue with further chemotherapy sessions. The recent blood report indicates a low level of blood count which is making his immune system really weak.

His mother thanked everyone for the contribution and support.

Dear Supporters,

Vivash underwent his second cycle of chemotherapy in the last week of November. He was discharged from the hospital in the first week of December. Unfortunately, he developed high fever a few days after being discharged and had to be admitted in the hospital again. He also has low haemoglobin. After a blood transfusion, the fever came down and the haemoglobin count recovered. He was discharged again on December 10.

He undergoes blood tests every three days. The third cycle of chemotherapy is expected to start on December 22. Whether a bone-marrow transplant will be done or not will only be decided by the doctor after the fourth cycle of chemotherapy. The fourth cycle is expected to happen towards the end of January.

Raja, Vivash's father, says "Other than friends and family, there are a lot of anonymous donors, who made it possible for my son to receive treatment in just four days. We were very worried because we didn't know what to do. I want to personally thank all donors on behalf of my family for making this possible."
