Balaraman is recovering well and walking on his own. He's going through rigorous physio and rehab to recover. He's still a confused and disoriented at times.
We are planning to have the cranioplasty in a couple of months after he has recovered well.

Thank you everyone for the amazing support so far. Everyone from Balaraman's family is extremely grateful for all the help you guys have given us.
Balaraman is back home and is under home care. He's been recovering well so far. We having hired 24x7 care for him and also getting help from physiotherapists for successful rehabilitation.
We have spent about 11 Lakhs thanks to this fundraiser and loans from friends/family so far and he still needs to undergo cranioplasty surgery to replace the removed part of the skull. Doctors estimate the surgery would cost around 2 Lakhs and the final amount might well exceed the initial projected amount which was 16 Lakhs.

Thank you for all the support so far.
Balaraman has been recovering well so far and he's able to talk small words with effort. He's in a recovery phase where he is a little confused about what's happening around him and this is expected after a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
His GCS is 13 and he's in a recovery/rehabilitation phase where everything depends on nutrition and Physio. We are moving him to a home care soon where a dedicated nurse will be taking care of him 24x7.
We have spend around 8Lakhs so far and the doc is expecting another 6Lakhs before complete recovery including another surgery to replace the part of skull which was removed during initial surgery.
The recovery is going to be a long road and we ask you to wish him the best of luck!
