We got a call on our helpline number from A Delhi boy 'Rohit' who was travelling for work and spotted this dog on his way out of the Train Station. This male indie dog was found outside Pune Railway station tied up, lying lifeless in the rain . He had a maggot wound, was dehydrated and we suspected that there was cruelty involved.Our Ambulance got there immediately and the dog was taken to Doctor Milind Mhatre's Clinic in South Main road, Koregaon Park for first aid. The dog was later transported in the ambulance to ResQ Charitable Trust's Animal hospital in Bhugaon Area.
He was under treatment for few days there before he passed away.
We are grateful that we were able to reach him on time, reduce his suffering and get him the care he needed in the end.
